Course Content EBR-ESA-V1 Waterways is based on the publication EBR ESA Waterways ESA-VAE:17 - Hydropower Safety Directions. It also builds upon and complies with the requirements described in the Power Grid Industry's Guidelines, EBR's Requirement Document.

The training is aimed at those who will lead, plan, or work in or near waterways or hydroelectric plants and need competence to analyze risks and avoid hazards during the work.

Our instructors are excellent educators with many years of industry experience. For in-person training, we offer comfortable facilities and provide lunch and refreshments. For distance learning, it is important that you sit at a computer with a stable internet connection and use a headset and webcam.

A week before the course, a notice will be sent out with information about the location and time, or alternatively, a web link to the virtual classroom and digital study materials. Loan books will be provided for in-person training. The exam is conducted digitally, and it is important to bring your own laptop or tablet to the on-site course.

A few days before the course starts, your details will be registered with Energiföretagen/Wattityd, where you will have your own profile. You will also receive an email from Energiföretagen/Wattityd with a link to approve GDPR. The price of the course includes the fee to Energiföretagen.

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the final exam, you will receive a certificate " EBR-ESA-V1 Waterways"  is obtained. It is valid for 3 years, which means a repetition requirement of every three years.
